WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,107.00 crore on NSE
Mumbai: Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,107.00 crore in 30 trades.
Top securities (nn-repo) traded at the WDM were: The 8.68 per cent Government security maturing in CG2031 traded value of Rs 125.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.54 per cent, the 8.30 per cent Government security maturing in CG2042 traded value of Rs 110.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.77 per cent and the 7.59 per cent Government security maturing in CG2029 traded value of Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.61 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 7,747.98 crore and the total number of trades was 205. The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 2,739.98 crore as on Jan 9, while the lowest was Rs 813.00 crore on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 6.69 per cent, 7.23 per cent, 7.43 per cent and 7.59 respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90 days and 91-182 days quoted at 6.12 per cent and 6.32 per cent.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs. 6,052.98 crore, representing 78.12 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 1,695.00 crore,representing 21.88 per cent, an NSE release said.
